Fox Soccer Academy put in a strong performance in their showcase game against Boston United U21s, earning a well-deserved 1-1 draw. Despite Boston’s early dominance in possession, FSA stayed disciplined, defended resolutely, and took their chance when it mattered. A clinical finish from Lotredge Muteera cancelled out Boston’s opener, and a solid defensive display ensured the team came away with a hard-fought result.

Boston Utd started brightly with plenty of possession early on. FSA had to defend well and that’s exactly what they did with everyone working hard off the ball to keep defensive shape.
FSA caused some problems for Boston Utd too with Bradley and Lotredge Muteera linking up well upfront. FSA stayed compact and frustrated Boston Utd up until just over the half our mark.
A good quality move together down the right hand side which produced the first goal of the game giving them a 1-0 lead. FSA responded soon after good work from Jake Warren put Lotredge Muteera through to beat his man and finish clinically to level the score.
At the break scores were level 1-1. Boston continued to have more of the ball during the second half but with Lee Quincy, Ciprian and Harry Collier working hard in midfield overloads were limited in the final third. FSA defensive unit continued to win their duals to cancel out Boston Utd’s attacks.
Boston Utd had a penalty claim ruled out for offside in the final stages of the game as FSA stood firm. FSA could have won the game in the final few minutes with Smith through on goal but unable to grab the winner.
